Zur Linde in Windeck

Very chic and rustic! Unfortunately no full kitchen! Perhaps as a reference to the HP !? It seems to be decided on the basis of the gut whether the kitchen opens or not! What a shame for this beautiful location! Better to call whether there is something to eat or not!

It was super tasty and we felt in good hands after our hike. To host a group of 12 people at the same time in a full restaurant, RESPECT! Great service. We will definitely be back soon.

You get a feeling of vacation when you sit outside but it is also very cozy in the restaurant. Everything is decorated with great attention to detail. As always, we were warmly welcomed. The innkeepers Susi and Sammy are very friendly, you immediately feel welcome. Bad mood is a foreign word there. The food was perfect, an absolute feast for the palate. We can only recommend all those who like to eat well and go to the linden tree in Alt Windeck and see for themselves. The chef still cooks there himself. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The menu was highly praised a day ago and today (Ascension Day) there were only 4 (!) Dishes? We waived, but we cannot say anything about the without Corona card either.

The Gasthof zur Linde is the place that can always be highly recommended. In the immediate vicinity there is a local museum and the castle ruins of Windeck. After the visits, you should definitely stop for a meal or coffee and cake in the Gashof zur Linde. The food is the stunner (very tasty and rich) and nothing comes from the canned food !! Everything is freshly prepared. The inn is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. You can linger in front of the house in good weather in the beer garden. It's a shame that such good inns have become scarce. Some should take an example from this.

As always ... great. Sammy cooked deliciously and we weren't thirsty either. It's always nice in the linden tree.

Here you are really welcome as a guest. Great atmosphere in the old half-timbered house. Really cozy. The food was well arranged and delicious. From A for Arriving to Z for Zur Linde we will definitely be back everything was wonderful. The hospitality by the couple and their staff was very good and very friendly. Simply put: eating out with a feel-good factor! Would love to come back anytime.

I can only recommend this restaurant. Despite full occupation, everything runs smoothly here. The kitchen works all orders and that is not a few, in no time without losing quality. Only professionals work here !!! We will be back 👍 👍 👍
